Housed within the meticulously restored stable block of the renowned Herdman family's linen mills, dating back to 1884 and masterfully designed by William Unsworth, Sika offers a unique dining experience where history meets contemporary flair. 

Opened in early 2023 by acclaimed chef Niall Gorham and his wife Patricia, Sika quickly captured the hearts and palates of locals and visitors alike. The menus showcase the finest seasonal ingredients, including the prized Sika deer sourced from the nearby estate when in season. 

Sika welcomes guests for lunch and dinner, Thursday through Sunday, offering a tempting array of culinary delights to enjoy amidst the historic ambience of the village. Additionally, on Sundays, guests can indulge in a traditional hearty Sunday dinner, featuring classic dishes prepared with a modern twist and served with all the trimmings.
